Senior Citizen Work-Off Abatement Lottery List

At the Lottery held on Thursday, August 5, 2016, the following individuals were chosen for the Real Estate Abatement and Water Abatements. Seniors chosen for the real estate portion will begin work on September 26, 2016 and must complete their hours by November 23, 2016. Seniors chosen for the water portion will begin work on Monday, February 13, 2017 and will have until April 19, 2017 to complete their hours. Christopher Bright To Be Officially Sworn In As Chief of Revere Fire Department In Ceremony On Monday at 3 PM

Mayor Brian Arrigo announced on Thursday that Christopher Bright, a 33-year veteran of the Revere Fire Department who has served as Acting Chief since the retirement of Chief Eugene Doherty, will be formally sworn in as the next Chief of the Revere Fire Department. There will be two NNO celebrations held in Revere on Tuesday, August 2. One will take place at Curtis Park at the Garfield School (176 Garfield Ave), sponsored by Councillor Ira Novoselsky. The other will be led at the West Revere School Complex (107 Newhall St.), hosted by the City of Revere and Mayor Brian Arrigo.
