TOBIN BRIDGE GOES ALL ELECTRONIC ON MONDAY, JULY 21st

As of today, July 21st, the Tobin Bridge is NOT accepting cash. Tolls will be collected electronically either through the motorist's E-ZPass transponder or via the PAY BY PLATE MA program. Transponders can be obtained free of charge by calling 1-877-627-7745 or visiting the website at http://www.massdot.state.ma.us/highway/TrafficTravelResources/EZPassMAProgram.aspx You can also obtain a transponder in person by visiting the traveling MassDOT E-ZPass Purple Van. The van is located on Route 1N (at the former Weylus' parking lot) in Saugus, MA for the next few days and plans to be back in Revere next week. Details will follow as to dates and locations.
