Pay my Water Bill
The City of Revere encourages residents to pay your Water and Sewer bill online for added convenience and efficiency. You can also pay in person at the Collector's Office on the first floor of Revere City Hall, located at 281 Broadway, or over the phone by calling 781-286-8120.
The Water/Sewer Billing Office issues quarterly bills for residential properties in January, April, July, and October. Commercial properties are billed monthly.

Request a Final Water Bill
When ownership of a residential or commercial property is scheduled to change, please request a Final Water Bill online prior to property sale. Visit www.revere.org/permitting - If you don’t have an account, create one as either a Property Owner or Citizen/Resident. The Apply for a Permit, and select “Final Water Meter Read Request” from the Application Type dropdown list. After you’ve finished answering the questions, submit your request. No payment will be due at this stage.
If the Water and Sewer Billing Department approve your request, you will receive an automated email noting that approval, and requesting payment.
After payment by credit card or e-check, you should receive a copy of the requested final bill by email.

How to Make a Payment
2025 Water & Sewer Senior Discount Program
The 2025 Water & Sewer Senior Discount Program offers discounts based on water consumption for eligible senior residents (65+), with applications open from March 3 to September 5, 2025. Discounts are applied once a year on the October bill, and applicants must be the property owner, occupy the property, and provide required documentation such as a utility bill and ID.

Report a Water Outage or Non-Emergency Issue
For any non-emergency water event, dial 3-1-1 (781-286-8311) to report a problem with water or sewer service. During off-hours, for urgent matters, you will be able to follow the prompts to reach the overnight and weekend answering service.

Temporary Water Shut-off
To request that your water service be temporarily shut off for construction or for the season, please call 3-1-1 (781-286-8311) during normal business hours. Any request made after 3 pm will incur a $100 fee for same-day service.
Lead Service Line Inventory
In compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency's Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) the material of every known water source in the City can be found and searched for in the link below. This Service Line Inventory was created with the use of Statistical/Predictive Modeling to predict and identify the material of unknown service lines.
Have you Received a Water Service Disruption Notice?
The City of Revere is constantly trying to better and improve the City’s water distribution system. To complete this work, after due notice is given, select areas will need to be shut down and water service interrupted. If you have received one of these letters (Notice Example), please prepare to be without service for the duration stated on the notice. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding while we are in the process of upgrading our water system, making it safer and more dependable for all residents of Revere.
