Revere Launches Web Page With Information About Road Construction Projects

The City of Revere launched a new page on its website dedicated to updates about past, ongoing and future road construction projects under the City of Revere’s Roadway Improvement Program.
Residents can access the page at /residents/road-work-and-construction-projects.
The page lists the roads slated for repavement and reconstruction under this year’s roadway improvement program (Mountain Ave, Adams St., Winthrop Ave, Barrett St., S. Cambridge St., and Arlington Ave), along with links to the study done by the engineering department on those streets to demonstrate the reasons why they were chosen for reconstruction this year.
In addition, the page shows a map of where the Planning Department has done road repavement from 2010-2015. More data will be added as it becomes available. The page will also be updated with specific dates and more information about each project.
“Roadwork is one of the most important quality of life issues for residents,” said Mayor Brian Arrigo. “My campaign promise was to make this work fully transparent and based on sound reasoning. This page will help residents see exactly where we at and why we’re doing the work selected each year.”
