City Event Application
Planning an Event in the City of Revere
Interested in hosting an event in the City of Revere? Whether you're organizig a cultural celebration, parade, a walk-a-thon, a run, community gathering, fundraiser, or a neighorhood festival/block party, the City welcomes applications for events that bring people togther and celebrate community and culture.
Submitting an event application is the first step. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed, and a representative from the city will reach out to you. Depending on the event details, you may need approvals or permits related to:
- Special 1-Day License/Entertainment License
(The licensing board meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month. License applications must be submitted in advance to ensure they are reviewed & approved in time.) - Street closures and traffic control
- Use of public spaces or facilities
- Food vendors and health inspections
- Entertainment, sound amplification, or staging
- Waste management and cleanup plans
- Police and Fire Department coordination and permitting
- Liability insurance
We recommend submitting your application 60 days in advance . The more accurate information you provide, the smoother the review process will be. Be prepared to answer questions about your event's timeline, expected attendance, vendors, layout, and logistics.
A site plan or drawing of your event setup within the city location must be attached to your application.
Please double-check your event date/rain date and all application details before submitting. Incorrect or missing information may cause delays or require you to resubmit your application.

Through this plan, we detail our strategies and initiatives to provide language assistance services, such as translation and interpretation, for individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP).
