***Revere Public Schools closed on Wednesday, March 15; City Offices Open; Snow Emergency/Parking Ban Remains in Effect Until Further Notice***
March 14, 2017
Due to treacherous, icy conditions in the wake of Tuesday's nor'easter, the Revere Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, March 15.
All City offices, including City Hall and all School Department offices, will be open for regular business hours.
The snow emergency/parking ban remains in effect until further notice so DPW can complete cleanup. Please follow the City of Revere's accounts on Facebook and Twitter for updates.
Parking ban info: Residents should be aware of the list of emergency arteries - http://reverepolice.org/snow-emergency-parking/ - and not park on these streets until the parking ban is lifted. Vehicles parked on emergency arteries will be towed for the duration of the parking ban.
Trash Collection: Trash collection will take place as usual tomorrow.
Power Outages: Approximately 1100 Revere customers have experienced power outages at some point due to today's storm. There are still areas without power at this time. National Grid is working to restore service as quickly as possible. To report a power outage, call National Grid at 1-800-465-1212. If you see a downed power line, CALL 911 and stay away from the downed line.
Cleanup: Call DPW 781-286-8149 regarding snow-related issues. However, we urge residents to have patience during the cleanup and know that crews will work to clear roads as quickly as possible. In the event of an emergency, call 911.
