2014 - 2015 School Year - Message From Mayor Rizzo

The 2014 - 2015 school year has officially begun with the opening of the McKinley School this past Monday. All other Revere Public Schools officially welcome children back to the classroom on Monday, August 25th. While some of you may be taking children into the classrooms for the first time, others will watch as their children begin their first year of high school or maybe their last year of high school or perhaps some are sending their children off to college. Regardless of where your child is in his or her educational journey, your role as parents or guardians play an integral role in their educational success.
We must all work together to safeguard our children as they travel to and from school and other related activities. Please be sure to obey the laws and signs when traveling in a posted school zone (20 m.p.h.) and adhere to the flashing lights of a stopped school bus that be loading or unloading students.
