City of Revere Hosts Successful “How to Open a Business in Revere” Seminar

Revere, MA – Yesterday, the City of Revere and the Office of Mayor Patrick M. Keefe Jr. hosted a multilingual “How to Open a Business in Revere” seminar, educating current business owners, finance partners, and aspiring entrepreneurs on the pathways to open a successful business in Revere. The event featured representatives from key departments who interface with every step in the process of opening and maintaining a business in Revere, including the Department of Planning and Community Development, the Inspectional Services Department, and the License Commission, as well as representatives from the Revere Chamber of Commerce. The event also provided attendees the opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs, members of the Revere Chamber of Commerce, and city staff alike.
“The City is here to uplift our small businesses and entrepreneurs, and make them aware of the available opportunities that foster long-term success,” commented Mayor Patrick M. Keefe Jr. He continued, “As we continue to encourage business growth in Revere, ensuring that there are opportunities for potential business owners to connect with City staff, develop working relationships, and learn the processes for bringing their ideas to fruition will create a stronger, more diverse, and long-lasting business base to Revere.”
The thirty-plus entrepreneurs in attendance represented a diverse range of businesses and backgrounds, including retail, restaurants, and beauty services.
“A quality, reputable business often becomes the keystone for local neighborhoods. These mainstays make up the fabric of our community and become both places of commerce and connection for our residents. Ensuring that interested entrepreneurs of all backgrounds, ones who reflect the character of our city, have the chance to invest in Revere, is critical. In the same vein, it’s important that we, as a municipality, invest back in their businesses, through education, development opportunities, and, as residents, shopping locally,” commented Chief of Staff Claudia Correa.

Revere, Massachusetts. Ayer, la ciudad de Revere y la oficina del alcalde Patrick M. Keefe Jr. organizaron un seminario multilingüe titulado “Cómo abrir un negocio en Revere”, en el que se informó a los actuales propietarios de negocios, socios financieros y aspirantes a empresarios sobre las vías para abrir un negocio con éxito en Revere. El evento contó con la participación de representantes de departamentos clave que intervienen en cada paso del proceso de apertura y mantenimiento de un negocio en Revere, entre ellos el Departamento de Planificación y Desarrollo Comunitario, el Departamento de Servicios de Inspección y la Comisión de Licencias, así como representantes de la Cámara de Comercio de Revere. El evento también brindó a los asistentes la oportunidad de establecer contactos con otros emprendedores, con miembros de la Cámara de Comercio de Revere y con personal municipal.
El alcalde Patrick M. Keefe Jr. comentó: La ciudad está aquí para apoyar a nuestras pequeñas empresas y emprendedores, y hacerles saber las oportunidades disponibles que fomentan el éxito a largo plazo.
