<p>Revere Shines will be held on Saturday, April 26th from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. - rain or shine. We have ordered rain ponchos for all volunteers, or wear your own rain gear and the refreshments (coffee/donuts in morning and lunch at 12:00 P.M) will be held inside the American Legion Building. Hope you will all still join us for this great community event! The MBTA is also holding a Community Recycling Event at the Wonderland Park Lot on Ocean Avenue from 10:00am to 2:00pm.</p>
<p>In addition to cleaning up our parks and neighborhoods, we are also encouraging residents to &ldquo;clean out their medicine cabinets.&rdquo; The city is teaming up with the Revere CARES Coalition on Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Task Force to organize a Medicine Disposal Take Back Initiative. Residents will be able to drop off unused medicines at the American Legion Building from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM during the event. </p>
