Revere Business Survey
June 25, 2014
Over the next three years, businesses that make use of the web expect to grow 40% faster than those that don't. Mayor Daniel Rizzo, in conjunction with the Revere Chamber of Commerce, the Revere Community School, the Interact Club at Revere High School, The Neighborhood Developers, and other local stakeholders, is continuing his initiative to engage local business owners through the U.S. Conference of Mayor’s Get Your Business Online Challenge. Get Your Business Online provides small business owners with a custom domain name, web development and hosting, and access to educational resources -- all for free for one year.
Although 97% of Internet users are now looking online to find local products and services, 58% of American businesses still do not have a website. Through increased participation in the Revere Get Your Business Challenge, Mayor Rizzo hopes to close that gap.
Training classes were held at Revere City Hall, and the Revere High School, for small businesses who want to get online.
Additional classes are going to be held this coming fall and in order to make them productive we are conducting a survey. Please click HERE to join the conversation about the program.
