Promoting Unity in Our Community

Recently, Mayor Rizzo convened a meeting with members and advisors from the Office of New Revere Residents, Superintendent of Schools Paul Dakin, and Police Chief Joseph Cafarelli to seek input related to the challenges and opportunities in our increasingly diverse community.
"Revere is one community. We are all neighbors here whether your family has been here for generations or are newcomers to this country. We want to create an atmosphere of openness and tolerance from City Hall throughout every neighborhood."
The Mayor wants to reinforce his one community message with programs that promote inclusion and respect for cultural diversity. Meeting participants discussed ideas to increase cross cultural understanding among neighbors and ensure welcoming services throughout City Hall.
