Mayor Rizzo Appointed to Statewide Performance Advisory Council

Revere – Today Mayor Dan Rizzo was appointed by the Governor’s Cabinet Secretary of Administration & Finance, Glen Shor to the Massachusetts Performance Advisory Council. The Council is part of the MassResults Initiative that aims to make state government more effective, accountable, and open by building a results-oriented culture in state government. The council was created through Executive Order 540 and Mayor Rizzo will be a member of the council that advises the Secretary of Administration and Finance and the Office of Commonwealth Performance, Accountability and Transparency (CPAT) on strategic planning and performance management results. “This is truly an honor to serve with other leaders on the performance council and work on ways to make government more open and accountable. We have made tremendous strides in Revere to reform local government over the past three years and I am excited to share our experiences with other policy makers,” stated Mayor Rizzo.
