Mayor Rizzo Announces the Opening of the Revere Police Department Community Resource Office

Mayor Rizzo, in conjunction with Police Chief Cafarelli, is pleased to announce the opening of the Revere Police Department Community Resource Office (substation) located at 6 Pleasant Street. “Public Safety continues to be my number one priority as Mayor of the City of Revere,” commented Mayor Rizzo.
The mission of the Community Resource Office (“CRO”) is to develop crime prevention initiatives by working closely with the neighbors and businesses in identifying problems, establishing a partnership with them to help address these problems, and employing a philosophy of “problem oriented policing” to help solve problems for the long term. This satellite office will be open for “non emergency” residential and business issues. Please continue to contact the main police office or call 911 in the event of an emergency. The CRO will partner with city officials to address issues throughout neighborhoods in our community. In addition, patrol units will be walking, driving, and riding bicycles on Broadway to once again, continue to foster a partnership with local business owners and put police presence back in our central business district.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at the new Revere Police Department Community Resource Office on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. – all are invited and welcome to attend.
