DCR Traffic Advisory: Revere Beach Sand Sculpting Festival

WHAT: Beginning on Thursday, July 27, 2023, and continuing through Monday, July 31, 2023, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will implement various closures of Revere Beach Boulevard in the City of Revere to accommodate the 2023 Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival. Detour signage will be clearly marked, and a police detail will be onsite.
Closures of Revere Beach Boulevard include:
· Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, from Shirley Avenue to Beach Street
· Friday, July 28, 2023, to Sunday, July 30, 2023, between Eliot Circle and Chester Avenue from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. each day
· Each day from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Revere Beach Boulevard will reopen to vehicular traffic from Eliot Circle to Shirley Avenue (westbound).
