As part of the Revere Engineering Department's ongoing efforts to improve the water distribution system, R&D Site Development Inc. has been contracted to perform removal and replacement of the existing water distribution main on your street with a new water distribution main, to include new service connections. During construction, you may experience brief water service disruptions, mild discoloration & normal construction activity (including truck traffic, heavy equipment operation, etc.).
In order to provide water service throughout construction with minimal disruption, the contractor will install temporary bypass piping ahead of excavation efforts. The temporary by-pass system is scheduled to start to be installed in your area beginning approximately Monday, October 17, 2016.
You will be notified by the contractor directly no less than 48 hours prior to any excavation work commencing. Normal work hours are 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday.
