Revere Businesses Highlighted for Fully Vaccinated Staff
REVERE – Today the City of Revere distributed stickers to Revere small businesses whose employees are fully vaccinated. The stickers are part of a campaign to raise awareness about the importance of vaccination across the city.
Small businesses can join the program through the City of Revere Inspectional Services Department. To apply, please visit www.revere.org/vaccinatedbusiness or click here. Once ISD receives and reviews each application a COVID inspector is sent out to each small business for attestation and then designates them a Fully Vaccinated Business.
Currently, the following Revere businesses have been approved for stickers:
- Cafeteria Las Delicias Colombianas, 86 Shirley Ave
- Exito Multiservice, 85 Shirley Ave
- Circle Auto Gallery, 400 Beach St
- American Legion, 249 Broadway
- Moccia Insurance, 655 Broadway
- Peter Woo’s, 374 Broadway
- Pine River Fish Market, 400 American Legion Highway
- Terri’s Place, 732 Broadway
“This program helps provide our residents with another level of comfort to safely patronize our businesses and encourages them to shop and dine locally,” said Mayor Arrigo. “Our small businesses are the backbone of our city and once again they are showing their commitment to a safe full reopening."
As of May 14, 41% of Revere residents are fully vaccinated and 55% of Revere residents have now received their first dose. To celebrate and inspire the rising vaccination numbers, Mayor Brian Arrigo announced that he is planning a month of festivities this summer for fully vaccinated residents. This program, aptly named “Revere’s Rockin’ Rebound,” will launch the first week of June.
The City will also provide a comprehensive list of our Fully Vaccinated businesses on www.revere.org/vaccinatedbusiness. All Revere businesses are encouraged to apply for the program here.
