9th Annual Revere Beach Memorial

The City of Revere and the Revere Beach Memorial Committee with Revere CARES Coalition is hosting the 9th Annual Revere Beach Memorial on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the William G. Reinstein Bandstand on Revere Beach (rain or shine).

This is a candlelight vigil to remember the lives lost to substance use disorder. The event begins at sunset, approximately 7:00 pm. Individuals are welcome to preregister names to be read by calling Viviana Catano at Revere CARES 781-435-6440 or arriving between 6:00pm and 7:00pm on the night of the event. Guests are invited to bring photos of their loved one(s), and there will be a Remembrance Table and Wall available to place or hang pictures.

The funds raised by the Revere Beach Memorial Committee help sustain this annual event, support local Substance Use Disorder treatment programs, funeral assistance for families facing financial hardship when a loved one passes of an overdose, and awards a scholarship to a Revere High School students impacted by the issue.
