Please be reminded that the water/sewer bill is due on December 8, 2016. Please make payment in full by the due date to avoid a water lien on your fiscal year 2017 real estate tax bill.
The City of Revere Residential water rate effective July 1st, 2016 is $3.75 per hundred cubic feet; the Sewer rate is $12.40 per hundred cubic feet, a combined total of $16.15 per hundred cubic feet. The Commercial Rates are as follows: $5.93 per hundred cubic feet; the Sewer rate is $18.55 per hundred cubic feet, a combined total of $24.48 per hundred cubic feet.
The City of Revere has the water at Revere Beach tested on a regular basis to be sure it is safe to swim in during the summer months. During the summer months the results will be posted here on a weekly basis.
Each year the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority produces a consumer water quality report to update people in its service area on the high quality of MWRA water and to highlight any prescient issues, or highlights. Please follow the link to review these results. http://www.mwra.com/

We bill City wide for water four times a year, January, April, July, October. We test thirteen (13) sites throughout the city every week year round for the quality of water. The results are always very good. We also test for lead at twelve sites, the results have been the past few years below the DEP action level, (safe).
