The City of Revere Engineering Department and Department of Public Works have identified the need for resurfacing of the Suffolk Ave and Ridge Rd. neighborhood. As you are aware, National Grid completed extensive gas main upgrades in the neighborhood last year, leaving the roadway in rough condition. Funding has been secured for the final resurfacing of the roadways. The limits of the resurfacing project can be seen on the map below. The work of this contract will consist of removing and replacing approximately 8,400 linear feet of aging water mains in several neighborhoods in the City. This replacement project will also include replacing hydrants, public side water services, and gate valves associated with these water mains.
