2020 Summer Jobs
The Revere Parks and Recreation Department is announcing its Summer Youth Jobs Application process for the Summer of 2020.
Individuals ages 15 to 21 years old may apply (must bye 15 by May 1)
As part of the Mayor's Summer Youth Program, the City of Revere is now accepting applications from high school and college students up to age 21 who are seeking a summer employment experience with the City. You must be a Revere resident. These opportunities are paid and vary depending on funding criteria. Job placements are located throughout the City.

Applications must be submitted in their entirety, including all required attachments, by Wednesday, April 1.

The George Colella Community Center is located within the Garfield School (176 Garfield Ave) and is a division of the City of Revere Parks & Recreation Department. The facility includes a gymnasium, auditorium, classroom space, and swimming pool.

Leisure Programs and Special Events

Revere Community School
Revere Community School (RCS) under the City of Revere Park & Recreation Department provides continuing education programs to the residents of Revere in seasonal and year-round. Revere Community School is operated by the City of Revere in collaboration with Revere Public Schools. The goal of the Recreation and Community Programs Department is to provide affordable, quality programs meeting the needs of the community.
Revere Community School currently offers the following classes:
- English for Speakers of other language (ESOL)
- HiSET - English Preparation (For Revere residents ONLY)
- Spanish language
- Computer classes with TGH
- Workforce and financial literacy workshops with CONNECT
- Free Tax preparation in collaboration with The Neighborhood Developers
- Workshops and Information sessions
- Community services for high school students

Participants enrolled in HiSET, ESOL and any other courses may enroll their children ages 1-12 in childcare. Parents must enroll their children with the coordinator, who will then make the final decision based on the availability of spaces. Students are not permitted to bring their children without the proper registration.
Some classes require supplies and materials. These supplies/materials are not included in the tuition. Your instructor will discuss supplies and materials during the first class.
