As you take a walk on Revere Beach you will notice the
beautiful floral arrangements hanging along the polls

· The installation of more than 100 litter barrels throughout the city
· The installation of banners along Broadway
· The adoption of islands by various businesses throughout the city
· The initial work to spruce up the median strip on Squire Road
· The installation of flowers on Broadway and Shirley Avenue
· The city-wide sweeping program
· The monitoring of local properties through a reporting system that results in a cleaner environment and garners additional revenue for the City through fines for non-compliant offenders
· The planting and weeding of the flower beds along Revere Beach
· The painting of fire hydrants throughout the City

Community clean-ups of Revere Beach
With the funds that we have raised through the banner program and through the barrel program, we have paid for the following:
· the landscaping and maintenance of Revere City Hall
· the adoption of an island in Beachmont
· the clean up and maintenance of Centennial Park
· the barrels in front of City Hall
· the planting and maintenance of flowers on Revere Beach
· the planting and maintenance of flowers in Doris Park
· power washing of pavilions on Revere Beach
· the Carey Circle landscaping
· maintenance work on the Squire Road median strip
·
some of the new street signs that were installed in the City
The Committee thought that you would like to know what we have been doing with the funds that have been raised from projects such as the Banner Program. We urge you to support us in our efforts to improve the image of the City of Revere.
