MassDOT Notice: Weekend closures of the Chelsea St Bridge

MassDOT plans on closing the Chelsea Drawbridge to traffic in order to complete maintenance work on cables and sheaves on two consecutive weekend days in November.
This work will take two 6 hour shifts and the bridge will be closed to traffic on Saturday November 05, 2016 from 6AM- Noon and again on Sunday November 06, 2016 from 6:00 AM – Noon.
This work is weather dependent.
The detour will be posted and will direct traffic via McClellan Highway (Rte 1A) and Revere Beach Parkway. Detour plan available via this link.
