To the Citizens of Revere:

I am thrilled to be the new Mayor of Revere in these exciting times.  There is an enthusiasm about our city that reaches far beyond our boundaries. One hears it from developers, investors, city planners and news reporters.  These people see our beautiful beachfront, our proximity to downtown Boston and the convenience to nearby Logan Airport.  They recognize in these attributes almost unlimited potential.  The challenge for us as a City over the next decade and beyond is to seize this unique opportunity and transform it into success!

As citizens, however, we must not rely solely on our elected officials to make things happen.  No great city can survive on public servants alone!  Neighborhood groups and individual volunteers must step forward alongside our elected officials to accept the challenges that face our city.  Accomplishing our goals will not be easy.  The challenges are intimidating.  But together, I am confident we will overcome them.

As we move forward and embark on our new journey, I ask for your help and your patience.  I pledge that neither my dedication nor my passion for the city of Revere will ever dwindle.  I hope that by working together we can finally realize the great promise this City holds for all of us!

                                                                     Sincerely,

                                                            Thomas G. Ambrosino

                                                                        Mayor
