REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
LEASE AND UPGRADE OF FREDERICKS PARK
CITY OF REVERE
Sealed proposals for the lease and upgrade of Fredericks Park in the City of Revere will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, Revere, Massachusetts, until 1:00 PM on April 22, 2008.
Specifications may be obtained beginning Thursday, March 20, 2008 after 1:00 PM from the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Revere City Hall, 281 Broadway, Revere, Massachusetts 02151. Mailing of specifications requires advance payment in the form of a bank check or money order, in the amount of $ 5.00.
The City of Revere as the awarding authority, may accept any proposal or portion of a proposal, waive any informality in a proposal, order more or less of any item, investigate the ability of the vendors to honor a proposal, select a vendor who does not submit the highest proposal and award all contracts as shall be considered in the best interest of the City of Revere.
It is the policy of the City of Revere to take positive steps to maximize the utilization of minority business enterprises in all activities administered by this agency.
No candidate may withdraw his/her proposal within sixty (60) business days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
This request for proposals is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B and Chapter 30, Section 39M.
