REVERE BOARD OF HEALTH
NEEDLE DISPOSAL
The Revere Board of Health is very pleased and proud to announce that we have one of the first MDPH Sharps Container Disposal Sites in Massachusetts. Our site is in the Health Department, located in the back of the Legion Building at 249R Broadway.
Loose needles are not accepted but must be disposed of in a personal sharps container 2 quart or smaller.
Also accepted is a puncture resistant container such as a one-gallon bleach bottle, a one-pound sealed, taped coffee can or a 1.5 liter plastic soda bottle.
The kiosk does not accept glass containers, paper or plastic bags or containers larger than a one-gallon bottle.
Take your needle containers to the Health
Department during normal business hours,
from 8:15 AM - 5 PM Monday thru Thursday and 8:15 AM - 12:15 PM Friday.
