Plan Revere Public Meeting
Community members invited to attend and share their vision for the future of Revere
Revere – Today Mayor Rizzo announced that the first public meeting for the Plan Revere initiative will be held on Tuesday May 5th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Revere City Hall in the City Council Chambers. Plan Revere will commission a community based planning process for the entire City of Revere that focuses on our strongest assets, proximity to Boston, waterfront, and access to public transportation.
The Plan Revere process will include a 50+ member Steering Committee divided into five subcommittees focusing on specific goals and objectives of the initiative. The program will take into account zoning, commercial expansion, housing, education, infrastructure, transportation, demographics, and qualify of life. Members of the community are invited to attend the meeting and learn what steps city officials have taken and how they can get further involved in shaping the future of growth and development in Revere.
